The Board of the Educational Council includes Superintendents of the sixteen districts within Franklin County Ohio, as well as two additional representatives from Columbus City Schools and one from The Educational Service Center of Franklin County.
Each district pays dues to the Educational Council based on the number of students in their district. The Chair of the Council alternates each year between Columbus City Schools and one of the other districts. The Executive Committee meets monthly and the full board four times a year. The Educational Council Foundation serves as the legal and fiscal entity for the organization.

Educational Council Foundation
In addition to creating award winning programs, the Educational Council formed the Educational Council Foundation to enhance and expand its mission of supporting school districts and community efforts to increase student achievement and well-being. The mission of the Foundation is to be a catalyst for creative and effective education. A board of trustees composed of community leaders and educational representatives guides the Foundation.
As a non-profit organization, the Educational Council Foundation raises funds to increase the services provided to students in Central Ohio. Tax deductible gifts may be made to the Foundation in a variety of ways.
