7th Annual “Off to A Great Start!” Conference
Off to A Great Start! is an annual conference providing a forum of development for peer professional networks, which reinforces professionalism in the after school care field. This conference establishes a venue for particpants to share best practices, strengthen professional knowledge and skills, which increases the quality of after school programs. We focus on intentional program design, program improvement, resources for program sustainability, and the importance of school partnerships.
We want after school professionals to know their work is important and makes a difference in the lives of children and their families. This is a profession worthy of ones’ best effort and it’s important that resources are available to support them. The conference also communicates that participants are part of a wider community working to make positive changes in the lives of children and families.
