About The Program
The KIDSConnect Mentorship Program is a facilitator led program located in Canal Winchester, Whitehall, Hamilton, and Groveport Middle Schools. Mentor and mentee matches meet twice a month for an hour each meeting. Matches participate in team building activities, develop skill sets, explore professional and career goals, and establish a caring relationship. Mentors are required to attend training provided by the Mentoring Center of Central Ohio and complete background checks. The KIDSConnect Mentorship Program is supported by Community Partners of Southern Franklin County and currently funded by the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio Criminal Justice Services and Office of Homeland Security & Justice Programs.
