Consulting & Training Services
The training agendas below may be altered to meet the needs of individual organizations.
Consultation services can be arranged on a per hour or package basis. Please call for current prices.

A 2 hour training will take participants through the entire Safe School Audit process. Areas to be covered include:

  • Conducting a Safe School Audit: discussion will focus on setting goals around the Audit as well as the time and planning involved to ensure a successful Audit.
  • The Stakeholder Approach: discussions will include membership of the Stakeholder team, working with stakeholders and organizing people and work effectively.
  • Gathering Information: in this portion of the training a thorough explanation of the tools used to conduct the Audit is given. Areas of concentration will include the organization of the Audit recording form, the work plans and the survey instruments. Suggestions will be shared on different plans for different budgets, tips for data collection and completing the Audit recording form.
  • Moving from Data to Action: tips on communicating results, creating action plans and the need for continuous improvement will provide participants with a clear road map for working with the Safe School Audit.

An Action Planning Workshop will help school Communities move from data to action. Tips on action planning, continuing stakeholder involvement and locating resources will be covered. A school's data can be visually displayed for stakeholders to review.
